Sanduleak's music is good times at hand: playful enthusiasm sparks up the stage wherever they perform. Over ten years of near-constant rehearsal and performance, Sanduleak has derived a modern sound composed of many disparate influences. By allowing themselves the freedom to explore a variety of instrumentations, the band has created a repertoire of infectious, original tunes.
Sanduleak's sound has gelled with its current core of musicians. Settling into a funky groove, the band has stripped down to drums, bass, lead, and second guitar. On bass, Chris Pea brings a roiling bottom end to the rhythm section -- much to the joy of drummer Kay Sea. Tea Bee, with his synth-loaded rhythm guitar, employs a unique palette of tones to color the sound. Tee Pee, adventure guitarist extraordinaire, is a polytechnic, explosive player whose choice of notes carries minds far into the cosmos. Sanduleak's improvisational music can soar to pulsating, high energy levels or plunge to soulful moments of sober beauty.
Hailing from the northeast region of the U.S., Sanduleak has performed with Ekoostik Hookah, Jerry Garcia Band, Missing Man Formation, Victor Wooten, and many other major acts. They often bring special guests to the stage, reinforcing the jam atmosphere out of which Sanduleak was born. When all is played and done, you will realize that this is a band that loves to party!!
